ZIM Laboratories Limited (ZIM Labs) India has broadened its global business operations, by targeting the burgeoning markets of Australia and New Zealand. To facilitate this strategic expansion, ZIM Lab India partnered with MEDTAS, an Australian pharmaceutical company, to establish a joint venture, resulting in the incorporation of ZIMTAS Pty Ltd. in 2022. As a subsidiary of ZIM Labs India, ZIMTAS Pty Ltd. was formed with the primary aim of successfully entering the Australian and New Zealand markets, along with other regulated regions.
ZIMTAS Pty Ltd. has been assigned several key responsibilities. Primarily, it is in charge of filing and registering all products developed by ZIM LABS India with the Ministries of Health in both Australia and New Zealand. Furthermore, ZIMTAS Pty Ltd. manages all marketing activities related to these products within the Australian and New Zealand markets.
An important aspect of ZIMTAS Pty Ltd.’s role is handling all product registrations in Australia and New Zealand. After obtaining the necessary approvals, such as Market Authorizations, from the relevant Ministries of Health in each country, ZIMTAS Pty Ltd. will initiate sales to customers. This will facilitate the efficient distribution of ZIM LABS India’s products throughout the Australian and New Zealand markets.
